Listen to teacher/student interaction for statements of praise. Click appropriate button(s). Note that one praise statement can include multiple types of praise.

There are legitimate reasons for each type of praise, but an imbalance of praise types may have undesired consequences. There have also been found to be a gender based praise type in-balance. Research indicates that the most effective thing to praise to achieve academic growth is effort - not accomplishment.
